FAQ — ArcherRam Vertical Drama + AI Filmmaking Workshop

Question 1

What is the free session?

Accepted Answer

The free session is a live online introduction to vertical drama and AI filmmaking. It's a chance to meet Octavia and Kadesha, get a feel for the workshop format, and walk away with something actionable — no purchase required.

Question 2

What should I bring or have ready?

Accepted Answer

Just yourself and a working internet connection. A notebook is helpful if you like to take notes. No special software or equipment is needed for the free session.

Question 3

How do I prepare?

Accepted Answer

No preparation is required. If you want to get the most out of it, spend a few minutes watching a vertical drama episode on ReelShort or a similar platform so you arrive with a feel for the format.

Question 4

What if I can't make it live?

Accepted Answer

Register anyway. We'll do our best to share a recording with registered attendees, though availability is not guaranteed. The paid class always includes recording access.

Question 5

Is the free session really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes — no credit card, no catch. Register with your name and email and you're in.

Question 6

What is the format of the paid class?

Accepted Answer

It's a live, 2-hour hands-on class held online at 2 pm ET / 7 pm GMT (London). Octavia leads the vertical drama writing portion and Kadesha leads the AI filmmaking workflow portion. There's time for Q&A with both instructors at the end.

Question 7

What's included in the $197?

Accepted Answer

Your ticket covers the full 2-hour live class, access to the session recording, and Q&A time with both instructors. Any supplementary materials shared during the class are also included.

Question 8

Do I need any special software or equipment?

Accepted Answer

You'll need a computer or tablet with a stable internet connection and a browser that supports video conferencing. For the AI filmmaking portion, Kadesha will walk you through the tools she uses — you don't need to install anything in advance.

Question 9

What is the refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Full refunds are available up to 48 hours before your selected class date. After that, we're unable to offer refunds, but you may transfer your spot to a different date (subject to availability) by emailing us before the class begins.

Question 10

Can I attend more than one date?

Accepted Answer

Yes — each session is a standalone class covering the same curriculum. If you'd like to attend multiple dates, you'll need a separate ticket for each.

Question 11

Will the class be recorded?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All registered students receive access to the session recording so you can revisit the material at your own pace.

Question 12

Who are Octavia McKenzie and Kadesha Powell?

Accepted Answer

Octavia is a vertical drama writer whose ReelShort series Craving My British Cowboy has drawn over 4.5 million views. Kadesha is an AI filmmaker, Amazon bestselling author, and founder of Kapow Multimedia. Together they created this workshop to help writers and filmmakers break into the vertical drama space.

Question 13

Do I need prior screenwriting or filmmaking experience?

Accepted Answer

No. The class is designed for writers, filmmakers, and creatives at all levels — including complete beginners. If you have a story to tell, you belong here.

Question 14

Is this workshop only for people in the US?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. The class is held online and open to anyone worldwide. Sessions run at 2 pm ET (New York) / 7 pm GMT (London) so attendees on both sides of the Atlantic can join at a reasonable hour.

Question 15

Will there be more workshops after November?

Accepted Answer

We plan to run additional sessions. The best way to stay informed is to register for the free session — you'll be the first to hear about upcoming dates.
